OTHER NOTES
The first promotional single for the How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb album is Vertigo.  This song will be released as a commercial single on November 8, 2004.  Until that time radio stations around the world have received the promotional single for airplay.

The promotional campaign included various releases, including a CD in the UK and USA including just the album version of the song.  A 7", 10" and 12" vinyl were all released with various remixes by Jacknife Lee for promotional use.  The 7" commercial vinyl from the USA was also released in limited quantities for promotional use in late September, before it's wider release in November.  For information on this USA 7" see the page for the commercial single.

The version of Vertigo contained on these promos isn't the exact same as the version on the album.  The version on the single and on the single promo is actually slightly edited, and is missing a few seconds of sound at the end of the track.  Otherwise the track is the same as the album version.
