| Recorded in 1985, Bono duets with Maire Brennan on the song
"In a Lifetime" originally released on the album Macalla. The song
is a haunting traditional tune. In a Lifetime was released as a single,
and a promotional video was filmed for release. The video features
a longhaired Bono, with wind blowing out behind him. This was the
look that inspired the look of DC Comic's Sandman character.
The song itself has been a staple of various Clannad compilations over
the years. Each time they package together another, the song appears
yet again. It also tends to pop up on many celtic collections. |
