UPDATED: MTV initially reported that Bono had signed on to participate in Quincy Jones' remake of We Are The World. However, there is no mention of Bono having been at the taping in New York City this Monday. Some outlets are reporting that a few artists will be contributing to the effort remotely, but did not specifically mention Bono. The song and video are set to premier on NBC on February 12 during the opening ceremonies of the Vancouver Winter Olympics. [BH]
