Bono re-recorded "If You Wear That Velvet Dress" with Jools Holland, his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, and the British jazz trumpeter, Guy Barker. The track was recorded in late summer 2002, as U2 were putting the finishing touches on their The Best Of 1990 - 2000 Compilation.  That compilation featured several other reworkings of Pop songs, from which "If You Wear That Velvet Dress" also originated.

The album, a "duets" album between Holland and many familiar artists, will be released November 18th, 2002 in the UK, and won't be available until Spring 2003 to North American audiences.

  • "If You Wear that Velvet Dress" was originally recorded by U2 and released on the album Pop.
  • A live version of "If You Wear that Velvet Dress" was found on the Beautiful Day single.
