Thanks for running down the streaming singles and b-sides Aaron. I was too lazy to do it myself.  ;D

I made my own "Complete U2" a year or so ago by ripping my own CDs and filling in the gaps with iTunes Plus tracks. That way I know exactly what I have.

Very sad that has to revert to buying tracks from Amazon.

haha.  you know i'm working on my own 'complete u2' - now that i've had a couple of months of a stable computer config, it's time to get back to that. 

there was nothing in the set of tracks online that was worth spending time on.  All the tracks were relatively easy to find from the standard singles, and the quality on the older vinyl only stuff was much better when released through itunes recently.  Was very funny to start seeing those amazon track numbers start to come up.  It also looks like the older tracks may have been sourced from a cd compilation of vinyl rips.  Gonna compare those against some of those old bootleg compilations "Rare tracks volume 9" or whatever it was.  I'll report back.
