As part of the remasters program release, check iTunes today for a bonus release, the audio from the Paris 1987 concert has been released as its own album called simply "Live from Paris". This audio was taken from the video on the DVD that was previously released with the box set of the Remastered Joshua Tree last fall. Get your remasters? Finding errors in the track listings? Let us know what country you are in, what the catalog number is, what the matrix number is of the discs in question (the one under the CD), and tell us what you got for discs!! Many thanks!! wanderer @ u2wanderer.org (Take out the space!) [AJ]

One of our most popular sections is up to date - yes, we've updated the "By Song" listings in the U2 discography, which lists each version of songs that U2 has worked on as a collective or individually. Some things added in this latest update? The songs from Andrea Corr's solo album which Bono produced. The song Bono wrote for Johnny Hallyday. The track that Larry Mullen did with Underworld, including the remixes for the Japanese single. The Ballad of Ronnie Drew is in there, as are the songs off of the Slane Fanclub CD. And finally? The extra songs from the remasters of Boy, October, War and The Joshua Tree. Right now some information is pending on the new releases, but we will continue to update as time permits. Hopefully discography entries follow soon... [AJ]

By now, I'm sure that everyone has seen the tracklists for the deluxe remasters of Boy, October, and War. Indeed, they are already being discussed in our forums. In other release news, I've just received my DVD copy of Darfur Now, and can confirm that Bono and Stevie Wonder's collaboration on Love Is In Need Of Love Today plays over the end credits. The only audio track on the DVD is DD 5.1 as far as I can tell. [BH]

I apologize for the lack of lyrics updates in the past months (years?) - living on the road and then doing design work full time has limited the amount of energy I put into some of my side projects, including this one. It's something I'll try and catch up on, but in the meantime you can view or contribute to the lyrics transcriptions board in the site forum which has some of the newer songs the site itself is missing. :p

For those of you not lucky enough to live in Ireland, and who are trying to obtain a copy of The Ballad of Ronnie Drew, you have a few options. You can download the single from Universal Ireland's online store. If you are looking to obtain a copy of the CD (très twentieth century), try Road Records, Tower Records Ireland, or CD World. And be sure to check out the live performance from RTÉ. [BH]

U2, The Dubliners, Kíla, and A Band of Bowsies will release The Ballad of Ronnie Drew as a digital download February 22 and on CD February 29th. Ronnie Drew, a founding member of The Dubliners, is currently fighting cancer, and all profits from the single will go to support the Irish Cancer Society. However, the track will only be available in Ireland, so U2 fans the world over will have to get creative to get their hands on a copy. or will it?

May 20. Looks like we're getting the next in a series of remastering jobs on May the 20th according to Amazon.com - do a search for "U2 Boy Remastered" and you'll see listings for the regular version as well as a deluxe version. Further more I'm hearing rumours that Under a Blood Red Sky will see this treatment in September, and the deluxe version will contain the long awaited DVD release of the concert...UPDATE: Amazon listings for both October and War Remastered have shown up as well with the May 20th release date. Looks like each of the three albums will be coming in a one disc remastered version and a deluxe version. No word on the content of the deluxe versions as of yet. (Thanks Declan and Albie for the heads up!) [AJ]

Happy Holidays to the U2 online community from the staff at U2Wanderer. U2.com's annual gift to subscribers is beginning to show up in mailboxes; if you've been hibernating, it's the 2001 Slane concert on CD (and a t-shirt). If you've been meaning to download The Complete U2 with your holiday iTunes gift cards, you're too late. It's gone. (Go ahead and click if you don't believe me.) And finally, what in the name of Bono is this? [BH]
