OTHER NOTES
This is a follow up to one of the better tribute albums out there, Strung Out on U2, which was released in 2000.  Four years later another String Tribute tribute was released on the same label.  This time the music is performed by a more limited stable of artists, and an original compositon instead of a U2 cover finishes out the track listing.  Personally I haven't listened to this compilation so I cannot comment on the quality of the covers contained within.
