| LINER NOTES |
| You Made Me the Thief of Your Heart (Live, Dublin, 2002):
Written by Paul Hewson / Gavin Friday / Morris Roycroft. Produced
by Alan Branch and John Reynolds. |
| OTHER NOTES |
| This double disc set was released at the end of 2003 as a
"farewell" to Sinead's fans. The full title of the release is "She
Who Dwells in the Secret Place of the Most High Shall Abide Under the Shadow
of the Almighty" - forgive us for shortening it. The first disc is
a compilation of demo tracks, b-sides and other recordings. The second
disc is a live recording from the Dublin 2002 concert. This concert
was also released as a DVD called "Goodnight, Thank You, You've Been a
Lovely Audience".
None of U2 actually play on this recording, but Sinead does sing a song
that was written for her by Bono and Gavin Friday. The song is "You
Made Me the Thief of Your Heart" and it was originally recorded by Sinead
in 1993. This live performance is a gorgeous version of this song.
Also of note on this compilation is the song "This IS a Rebel Song"
which is a song title which was inspired by the way that Bono used to introduce
"Sunday Bloody Sunday" in concert. |
