| This recording was made in the summer of 1998, and Bono contributes
his vocals long distance to the project. The song, Lean on Me, was
the first single from Franklin's Nu Nation Project
album. The song went on to be nominated for a Grammy Award, and at the
1999 awards show, Bono performed onstage along side the other artists.
It should be noted that even though the second song on this single is
called the Album Version, it is not the version that appears on the album.
It is 5:56, where the version on the album in 5:08. It is a different mix
of the song than on the album as well. It also appears on the single
in the same format. |
