| Get on Your Boots was released as the first single from the
album No Line on the Horizon. The song debuted on January 19, 2009
via radio, and in a move unheard of from U2 in the past, was available
immediately in the iTunes store worldwide. No more waiting for a
promo single to hit your local radio station so you could tape it, you
could buy your very own copy shortly after it was introduced to the world.
The song, "Get On Your Boots" was originally titled "Sexy Boots" for
the planned fall release, and was planned as the first single even before
the album was delayed. The version of "No Line on the Horizon" appearing
on this release is not a remix, but instead is an alternate recording of
the song. |

cover of this release is different as the "U2" is done in black ink instead
of red, and the credits also see this change on the inner flap. The
CD too reverses the red and black print from the other editions of the
CD. The video which downloads is a 67MB mp4 file, encoded as a 640x360
aac file at 48khz. |
