| After not receiving any commercially released CD singles
during the All That You Can't Leave Behind this
EP was released in the United States at Target stores. It was named 7 for
the number of tracks, as well as the selling price, which was $6.99.
The EP featured b-sides that had previously been commercially released
around the world. Always and Summer Rain were featured on the Beautiful
Day singles. Big Girls are Best and the Quincey and Sonance Mix
of Beautiful Day were featured on the Canadian release of Walk
On and the European release of Stuck in a Moment.
Elevation (Influx Mix) came from the Elevation
single. The single version of Walk On and the Acoustic version of Stuck
in a Moment came from the European release of Walk
On and the Canadian Release of Stuck in a Moment.
None of these songs had been commercially released in the USA, with the
exception of Always and Summer Rain which were sold as bonus CDs with initial
copies of All That You Can't Leave Behind.
Although labelled an EP, it is expected that this release will be limited
in release, and as of August of 2002, it was already becoming more difficult
to track down at Target stores throughout the US. |
