OTHER NOTES
On July 2, 2005 around the world a series of concerts was held called "Live 8" - the purpose of these concerts?  To bring awareness to the leaders of the G8 countries of the "Make Poverty History" organization, and the goal to assist Africa.  U2 performed at the concert in London England, held at Hyde Park.  They opened the show.

This CD features some of the highlights from the DVD box set which was released in November of 2005.  The U2 track included is the performance of Vertigo from that day.  Another track from that performance, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was released on iTunes the day of the performance, and has become the fastest selling single ever.
