| Released to promote the release of The
Joshua Tree, this boxed set contained five 7" singles. Each track
from the Joshua Tree except for With or Without You was represented on
these samplers. Each 7" came in a picture sleeve which were identical except
for the item number which match the catalog numbers listed above.
Two versions of this set were released, one had plain white labels,
with just plain text, and the Island Records logo at the bottom of the
label. The other release featured a large grey "A" on the label behind
the text. A very rare mispressing left Where the Streets Have No Name off
of the first single, and instead Red Hill Mining Town was pressed on both
sides.
The five singles were also released separately. |
