| I can hear some ask why is this included under "Other U2"
when other compilations are relegated to the Various Artists Compilations
section? Well it's because the original U2 single is out of print,
the track has never appeared on an U2 album, and this is a fairly easy
way to obtain the song on CD. A Celebration
was a non-album single released in 1982. It reached number 47 on the UK
charts. In that sense it seems to be a weird choice to be included
on this compilation of top 5 singles from the year 1982 - but there's no
denying the success and recognition U2 have gained since that time. |
