OTHER NOTES
In 1995 U2 recorded an album under the name Passengers because of the additional guest who performed on the album.  That album was called Original Soundtracks No. 1. Pavarotti was one of the guests on that album for the song "Miss Sarajevo".  When Pavarotti's annual concert with friends arrive in September of that year he invited U2 to join him for the concert.  Bono and the Edge, as well as Brian Eno appeared at the concert.  The three performed "One" and also "Miss Sarajevo" with Pavarotti.  They also joined the ensemble at the end to perform "Nessun Dorma".
RELATED RELEASES
  • Bono co-wrote "Miserere" with Zucchero which was recorded by Zucchero and Pavarotti, and appeared on the album Miserere by Zucchero.
  • Miserere was also released as a single. It was also recorded live by Zucchero and Pavarotti and appears on Pavarotti's Pavarotti and Friends 1 album.
  • Pavarotti appeared on the song "Miss Sarajevo" found on the Passengers releases: Original Soundtracks No. 1 album, Miss Sarajevo single, and Miss Sarajevo promotional single.
  • "Miss Sarajevo" was also released on U2's Best of 1990-2000 album and their Best of 1990-2000 & B Sides album - and was also featured on several promotional recordings.
  • Bono and Edge appeared at Pavarotti's War Child concert in 1995 and performed "One" and "Miss Sarajevo" which was released on the Pavarotti and Friends Live for the Children of Bosnia album.
  • The live version of "Miss Sarajevo" was also featured on a promotional single for Live for the Children of Bosnia album.
