This compilation was issued when Martin Hannett passed away.  All proceeds from this album went to Hannett's family.  The compilation is a sampling of Hannett's production work for various artists.  Hannett is best known, perhaps, for his work with New Order and Joy Division.  He also served as a director of Factory Records.
